Replication Capabilities
A global telecommunications company had recently migrated from a Lenel Enterprise OnGuard system to an Avigilon access control manager. The problem: Although the new system could synchronize data between five Avigilon appliances, it wasn’t able to replicate data between regional servers the way OnGuard had. The company needed a solution to create the same replication capabilities in its new ACM, automatically propagating people and credential changes between disparate systems.
The company also tasked Octeum with integrating its Workday HR system as a source of people-related data. When employee information was added or changed, it needed to automatically sync across five other PAC systems.
