We’re looking for a Physical Security Application Engineer to design and build the systems, integrations, and workflows that power modern security environments. You’ll work across physical security platforms, APIs, data pipelines, and connected technologies to deliver scalable, reliable solutions that solve complex challenges and create measurable business value.
You’ll work across leading platforms such as Genetec, Software House, Zenitel, LenelS2, Acre Security, and Motorola, helping create seamless, scalable, and secure security ecosystems.

What you’ll do
Design & Deliver
- Design and implement integrated physical security solutions including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and supporting technologies
- Translate customer requirements into scalable, high-performance system architectures
- Lead deployments and technical implementations from planning through execution
- Ensure solutions align with operational, security, and business objectives
Integrate & Innovate
- Develop and support integrations between security platforms, enterprise systems, and data sources
- Connect disparate technologies into unified security ecosystems
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements to system design and functionality
- Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency
Test & Optimize
- Configure and validate security applications, devices, and supporting infrastructure
- Perform end-to-end testing to ensure reliability, performance, and security
- Troubleshoot complex issues across hardware, software, networks, and integrations
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions
Support & Evolve
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and optimization of deployed solutions
- Monitor system health and proactively address risks, vulnerabilities, and performance issues
- Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and system enhancements
- Collaborate with customers to continuously improve system effectiveness and user experience
What we’re looking for
Experience
- 3–5+ years working with physical security systems including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection
- Hands-on experience with enterprise platforms such as Genetec, Software House, LenelS2, Honeywell, or similar
- Experience designing, deploying, and supporting integrated security solutions
- Background in customer-facing technical delivery or consulting environments
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of IP-based systems, networking, and connected devices
- Experience configuring, integrating, and supporting enterprise security platforms
- Knowledge of APIs, data integration, and system interoperability concepts
- Working knowledge of cybersecurity principles as applied to physical security systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Equivalent practical experience considered
Nice to Have
- Industry certifications (e.g., Genetec Certified Technician, CCNA, Security+)
- Experience with large-scale enterprise deployments
- Familiarity with cloud-based or hybrid security architectures
- Strong communication and client relationship skills

We’re looking for a Physical Security R&D Manager to lead the development, operation, and continuous evolution of our physical security research and testing environments. You’ll evaluate emerging technologies, validate integrations, develop deployment standards, and help shape the future of physical security solutions through hands-on innovation and technical leadership.
You’ll work across leading platforms such as Genetec, Software House, Zenitel, LenelS2, Acre Security, and Motorola, helping create scalable, secure, and interoperable security ecosystems.

What you’ll do
Research & Innovation
- Lead the design, buildout, and ongoing management of physical security lab environments
- Evaluate emerging technologies through proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives and technical validation
- Research industry trends and identify opportunities to improve security architectures and operational efficiency
- Develop recommendations for technology adoption, standardization, and future investments
Test & Validate
- Design and execute test plans, validation procedures, and performance benchmarks
- Conduct interoperability testing across access control, video management, intrusion detection, and integrated platforms
- Simulate real-world deployment scenarios to validate functionality, scalability, and resilience
- Document technical findings, test results, and deployment recommendations
Develop Standards & Training
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for deployment, configuration, testing, and maintenance
- Establish best practices for integrating and supporting physical security technologies
- Develop and deliver hands-on training programs for technical and operational teams
- Support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the organization
Manage Infrastructure & Operations
- Oversee the lab’s network, systems, hardware, and supporting infrastructure
- Ensure reliability, security, and performance across testing environments
- Manage system upgrades, integrations, and lifecycle planning
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to support lab operations and strategic initiatives
Safety & Compliance
- Maintain safe and compliant lab operations in accordance with applicable standards and regulations
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident reviews
- Develop and maintain emergency response and business continuity procedures
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence
What we’re looking for
